A Government Department in Melbourne is seeking the services of a Programme Manager.

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with all business Programme Managers across the Programme and wider Department
From an ICT perspective plan, direct, coordinate, and lead programmes of work to ensure goals, objectives and all elements of the programme are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
Manage all strategic aspects of large projects and mitigate any risk
Managing a portfolio of projects for successful delivery of all outputs required of the programme for all stakeholders
Work in an agile, responsive and transparent way AgileorSAFe delivery methodologies
Manage, and develop detailed scheduleors that support the commercial, functional and delivery work streams in evaluation of market response proposals
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to achieve the outcomes of developing and managing project scheduleors
Managing multiple parties internal and external whilst leading complexorhigh value engagements and
Understand business activities and their integration into the broader program identifying key dependencies and lowing overall risk.
Additional roles may be required by the Department through the Work Order that may be established as a result of this opportunity. These roles are to provide Services to support the programme and the wider Department and align with the specified role requirements outlined by this opportunity.

Selection Criteria
Minimum 10 years Programme Management experience
Demonstrated experience in managing strategic aspects of large programmesorprojects and mitigating risk
Demonstrated experience in delivering high value complex change programmes in excess of $500m
Demonstrated experience in directing and delivering highly complex, ICT projects within a broader programme environment where multiple interdependencies exist
Ability to span both agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
Highly developed vendororpartnerorsourcing management skills
Highly developed communications and organisation skills
Hold qualifications in projectorprogramme management.

The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen with Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
