A Government Department in Canberra requires the services of a GIS Spatial Database Administrator.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in spatial database administration using Esri SDE software.
• Ability to work within a spatial specialist team to provide database expertise and support an operation production system.
• Strong technical experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise software to be able to provide advice and support.
• Excellent business facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi tasking.
• Ability to apply both strategic thinking and practical hands on thinking in order to deliver projects in a complex science based organisation.

  The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen with baseline clearance Mandatory prior to commencement.
